It's Your Choice - Halloween In the Village or Boo At the Zoo, or Both!

Halloween, also known as "All Hallows Eve", will occur this year on a Monday! In years past the Village has had lots of tricksters searching for treats running through the streets of the Big Bear Village. This year will be no exception. This is a favorite of locals. Visiting tourists also enjoy the small town atmosphere.

The local merchants from the Village Association get together and give away candy throughout the Village streets...it keeps kids off the dimly lit streets of the area where in a resort town, many homes are not inhabited by full time residents.

We're happy that the merchants are generous in their hospitality which makes it a great way to celebrate Halloween safely.

The Zoo hosts, "BOO!- In the Zoo", at the Moonridge Animal Park. Attendees will get a thrill to see the animals receive their treats. Guests are encouraged to wear a costume, there will be games, prizes, and contests etc.
