Something new in the world of Easter Egg dying, can you believe it? Well, maybe it's not a "new" new trick but to ME it is anyway!
It seems very easy so why not give it a try? It is kind of a messy craft and that's one reason why the kiddos like it so much! All the supplies you will need are some shaving cream (not the gel type - it has to say "shaving cream"), food coloring, toothpicks, a cookie sheet or something similar, some rubber or cleaning/surgical type gloves and some rags!
Basically you hard boil your eggs normally and then let them cool. When they're cool, grab some shaving cream and spread it out on your cookie sheet. Drop drops of the food coloring onto the shaving cream and use the toothpicks to swirl the colors through the shaving cream. Then put on your gloves and the cooled egg and roll the egg around in the shaving cream. Let the egg dry for about 5 - 10 minutes and then wipe with a rag!
So why not give it a try! It looks like fun and a neat way to dye eggs!
