Hey everyone, hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Just to let you know, we have FRESH fudge in. This fudge is made by the owner herself in the kitchen of a contestant that won the Cupcake Wars TV show! There's milk chocolate, milk chocolate w/ nuts, and rocky road! Yum! Also, we just got in a TON of new inventory! We have various dinosaur gifts, beautiful necklaces of agate slices with initials on them, awesome agate slice night lights, gorgeous sterling silver necklaces that encase crystal and amethyst clusters, rock jelly beans, vintage soda pops, chocolate boulders, and an almost endless list of holiday gifts under $15! There is so much to see you must come and visit us! It's time to start thinking about the up coming holidays! No matter what you choose to celebrate or how, we have something for everyone! Also, check out our specials on our cabins. It's just a matter of time before the snow comes. They're saying we're to get a pretty good storm in later next week. Here's our local forcast... Nice weather headed into the weekend with cooling temperatures, but we'll squeeze in one more nice day Saturday with a few high clouds and highs in the mid to upper 50's; increasing southwest winds 10-20mph by afternoon. A weak disturbance will brush the area Sunday with a returning onshore flow and enough moisture we could squeeze out a few light showers or drizzle; cooler & breezy Sunday with a high around 50. Another decent day Monday ahead of our potent low pressure system expected to drop into the region Tuesday with wind, rain and more cooling. Clouds will increase Monday night with rain likely throughout the day on Tuesday, highs in the 40's with the snow level above 9,000ft as this system will have a warmer subtropical feed. Showers will continue off & on into Wednesday before tapering off Thursday as this whole system slides eastward by Friday. Snow levels may finally drop towards the tail end of the storm, but the majority of the precip will have ended, through we could still pick up a few inches on the tail end, leaving the most significant accumulations even above resort level. Should snow levels drop sooner than forecast then we would see a good amount, later and it's more rain, less snow etc. So be sure to check back often as this is still a developing situation; otherwise be prepared for a lot of cold and unsettled wet weather next week. Well, that's all I have for tonight. Hope you are all full and happy and with your families! Have a wonderful night! Cheryl
